God’s Word for God’s World — ‘Proclaiming, Teaching, Living the Truth’
Pilgrims Hall is a place where, over the years, Christians have been able to spend time away in God’s holy presence and experience the transforming power of His Spirit and His Word.
It is a place of prayer and proclamation of the gospel of the Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ, where the presence of God brings peace, refuge, healing, wholeness and restoration. The most common comments we receive from people are that both the presence of God and the peace of God are here.
Pilgrims Hall was bought in 1968 by Pilgrims Hall Fellowship Limited, a Christian charitable trust where the original vision was to provide a centre for training, teaching and working with local and wider churches in acting as a resource and support for the people of God. Over the past few years God has been bringing greater clarity to the calling we believe He has placed on us in these last days before Jesus returns.
Pilgrims Hall comprises of a board of trustees, a leadership team, a group of ‘live in’ team members and a number of volunteers, all of whom are members of various local churches. We seek to share our lives together practically and spiritually on a daily basis. As we do this, we believe that Jesus ministers to all who pass through our doors; it is, after all, His ministry.
ABout the ministry
The heart of those of us who seek to serve the Lord at Pilgrims Hall is to hold up a battle standard for the Word of Truth as revealed uniquely and exclusively in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
Pilgrims Hall has been a faith based ministry as a resource and support for the people of God for over 50 years. We believe that His call on us is to help equip believers for living in these days before Jesus returns to this earth as Lord and King, able to stand as fully devoted followers of Christ.
Pilgrims Hall is a unique place in many ways in that we are both a centre seeking to minister the Word of God in all its fullness through seminars and teaching, and also an oasis—a quiet place to draw aside to rest and hear God’s voice as individuals and as groups.
It is increasingly apparent that God’s people are facing very challenging times in the days ahead. The times in which we are now living are unprecedented, and at Pilgrims Hall we are passionate to see the Word of God in all its fullness honoured and brought to bear on the issues of the day.
In 2019 we launched a new ministry programme, Preparing for Jesus’ Return, which includes a series of seminars, conferences, Bible Study and discussion groups, all designed to encourage Christians to recognise what is happening in the world and in the church, and to help equip them to stand strong in their faith when all around is being shaken.

Our aims are:
- to honour and uphold God’s Holy Name, and to serve His church
- to provide Biblical teaching, training and support to strengthen the Body of Christ
- to prepare believers for Jesus’ return, in the light of understanding the times we are living in, and the need to live sanctified lives
- to be a place of prayer and proclamation of the gospel of the Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ.
- to be a place of welcome and hospitality, providing an oasis for those who would choose to come away to a quiet place and rest awhile, where the presence of God brings peace, refuge, healing, wholeness and restoration
- to be a body of believers, resident and otherwise, led by God’s Holy Spirit as we serve the vision at Pilgrims Hall
