What does it mean to be a Prepared People?

We were pleased that our first ever Bible Study Module was fully booked, and we just managed to finish the sessions before everything went into lock down due to the coronavirus situation.

The theme for our four-week module was “What does it mean to be a Prepared People?”, which proved extremely timely in view of what is occurring at this time throughout the whole world.

The first session’s study set the scene as we looked at what the Bible tells us about the return of our Lord and Saviour, and the need to be keeping watch. In our second session we were challenged to consider where our security truly lies. What we learnt about being in a covenant relationship with God should prove invaluable in the days ahead. Our third week covered the need to keep walking in His ways and instructions—so important in these days of lawlessness and uncertainty.

It was amazing to find how relevant our final week’s session turned out to be as we were about to move into increasingly stringent government instructions to stop meeting together. We were all mightily blessed and encouraged as we remembered who, what and where our Hope is.

Comments received:

"Thank you for all your efforts. It was a very relaxed and welcoming environment. I was blessed."

“A small group was great, and the combination of teaching and interactive study was perfect.”
