Conference and Seminar Facilities

Areas of Pilgrims Hall are available to hire for your own events.

Pilgrims Hall is a Regency house which stands in its own estate of nineteen acres. The character of the rooms available to visitors enhances their time spent here, and the sense of well-being which fills the house and the tranquil beauty of the gardens provide a superb setting for conferences, seminars, retreats, barbecues and picnics.

All the rooms are well-appointed and they are centrally heated in winter. In addition, to allow for flexibility of booking, we are pleased to offer part-day booking slots during mid-week day time periods.

Main Lounge

A splendid room in the Robert Adam style, the main Lounge seats up to 50 people. It is light and spacious, and in the summer months there is direct access through the French windows to the terrace and Italian sunken garden beyond. A range of music and presentation equipment is available for use.

Dining Room

Subject to availability, the Dining Room may be used by groups who have booked the Main Lounge and who wish to bring their own lunch or provide their own caterers. The dining room is very spacious and well furnished. In the summer months there is access through the French windows to an adjoining conservatory.

Cedar Suite

The Cedar Suite is located on the first floor at the front of the house and overlooks the extensive grounds. The suite comprises a comfortable lounge that accommodates up to 15 people, plus an adjoining kitchen that can be used for the preparation of food or drinks. (Please note that we do not have a lift facility for the disabled.)
